A usenet poster has discovered that a Mindcraft E-Mail originated from within Microsoft's network...

Mindcraft claims to have asked for performance tuning help on Usenet and
claims there was no response. To my knowledge, they haven't given any
pointers to their original question, but somebody noticed that this one
matched the setup they used:

A traceroute to this address goes to Seattle, then into Microsoft. The last traceable host is iusdinetdc7505-f0-00.taps.msft.net (131.107.34.5).
As if it wasn't clear enough already, this shows they had better access to Microsoft help than the average sysadmin. Can anybody tell from this information exactly where on the Redmond campus this "independent" researcher was operating?
