"Red Hat, Inc. (NASDAQ-NM:RHAT) announced today the initial public offering of its common stock on the Nasdaq National Market under the trading symbol RHAT.

The initial public offering price of the 6,000,000 shares offered by Red Hat was priced at $14.00 per share by the managing underwriters led by Goldman, Sachs & Co., with Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, Hambrecht & Quist LLC and E*OFFERING Corp. acting as co-managers. The Company has granted the underwriters options to purchase an aggregate of up to 900,000 additional ordinary shares to cover over allotments, if any."
